I was inspired to make Church Bingo after a fast and testimony meeting on June of 2026. During the meeting a friend leaned over to me and asked if I would like to play bingo with him, and when I asked why he wanted to play bingo he explained that it helped him pay attention to what was shared and not get distracted.
It stuck with me that bingo could be used in church to help people focus, and a request that had been made of me to make more churhc games to help people come to the Savior when they couldn't pay attention during sacrament meeting resonated within me.
This was a way that I could listen to and fulfill that request -- at least in part. While bingo won't work for everyone (some people may find it more distracting), I hope that this will help more people pay attention to what is being said in church, and inspire deeper conversations about the gospel afterwards.
